Just starting a new project and need some input on rear suspension. The Plymouth is going to be my driver. It is setting on the frame jig now with a new IFS and 2012 V6 LFX Camaro with a 6 speed and a 8.8 ford rear end. It will have coil overs on all four corners. I have all the room in the world for a rear suspension (no back seat and a very large trunk) What should I use for a rear suspension 3 link, or a Satchell link?
This is the intro page tell us about your self here first and then search the board and see if your question has been asked before if not post it on the board.
Welcome from the east coast. Your rear can be set up anyway you want, I'm using the original rear leaf springs, with tube shocks and sway bar on my current 36, and have also used this on my previous 36, but will do Corvette independent on my next 36 (I know I have too many 36's). I'd like to see some pictures of your frame setup with that engine, you can PM me, and I can send you a link to some of my picture albums too. Good to have you on board. Bob
check out the JIMENEZ BROS CUSTOMS 2 link. 2link has trailing arm style susp, like a nascar with a panhard bar. good luck!
