I finally dug this car out from under 30 years of junk.... Now the real work begins.. The car is referred to as the "CLARK SPECIAL".

Would like some details on this car- looks pretty neat. What is it built on?

The car is built from plans in the Nov.1952 Mechanix Illustrated magazine using a Model B Ford chassis with a flathead V-8. The plans called for hand built body panels on a pipe frame, with motorcycle fenders. Mr. Clark, instead used parts from assorted cars. The cab is MG-T series. I believe the rear fenders are '50 Chevy. I've yet to figure out what the front fenders are. The top section of the grill is '32 Ford . The headlights [which aren't shown} are '39 Buick. The engine is a stock flat head, but I have a 3X2 manifold and Stromberg 97's for it.
