Hi everyone, my name is Jorge, 46 years old, San Fransisco bay area. My first car was a 1956 Chevy hardtop, back in 1985, that was it, i was hooked. I have had a 53 Chevy wagon, 2 1953 chevy bel airs, 48 Chevy fleetline, 49 Chevy Chevy custom cab truck, 5 49-53 chevy suburbans, 47 chevy fleet line sports sedan. My pride and joy, a 1954 Chevy belair convertable that i bought back in 1991, total restoration, i still own and drive the car today. Most recently I bought a 2 door 1951 mercury monterey, and now have a chance to build something not on the original side. I am blown away by all the information available on this website, ideas, pictures, etc. so many great ideas. I am looking forward to meeting fellow members as i begin a new chapter of car building. This is a totally new direction for me. I can't wait to get started.
Welcome aboard. You'll find all the answers on the HAMB. The people here are a great wealth of knowledge and information. We'd love to see your cars. Why don't you post some pictures? I'm from Nor Cal too...Morgan Hill to be exact.
Welcome! Where at in the bay area? I am located in San Lorenzo, just north of Hayward. I love the early 50's mercury's. There is a mid 50's capri near my old work in hayward that if I had the money I would buy.
