in my haste to inspect the car i neglected to take pics like an idiot but i finally settled on my next project. found a really solid - minus the roof - 1939 chevy 2 door with 3 speed on the floor and an inline 6 that runs. ive been debating so many diff styles over the last few months from big 4 doors to g***ers to hot rods, etc. i love them all. as a guy who at 37 is very new to the cl***ic/hot rod scene i am way behind the majority of you. but i like to think i can learn. when i got my 67 dart i got it because it was what someone was willing to trade me. while i liked that car it wasn't my dream car. since then i developed some patience and found my dream truck in the 63 c10 and now the rod i want to spend some quality time on. the roof is toast - a tree fell on it. but the perimeter is solid so there is enough material to fashion a new one. may go ******* or even a cloth top. man i cant wait to floor shift this thing!! very excited. i know its a boring post but i was just too excited and had to tell anyone that would listen (read). hope to find some local hamb members near boston to share the experience. - jason
