Who and where should I purchase a beginner stripe kit? Is there such a thing? Any advice and guidance will be appreciated! Thanks!

Man just get 2 or 3 small pots of 1 shot, (colours that complimant each other), and a brush (plenty to choose from like Mack, Kafka, excailber and so on). get some mineral spirts from a hardware store and so motor oil to preserve your brush and start practicing. Doug DoRr does a good how to vid on youtube and get on the pinhead lounge for inspiration.
Glass or perspex are good to practice on,and build confidence.

I second that as well...I bought it after striping for a few years, learned plenty of new tricks and techniques.

Herb Martinez's book is very comprehensive: artform, chemical safety, business approach, additional resources. Pinheadlounge.com, Youtube.com

I agree with what other posters have said about buying Alan Johnson books and you can also see him at work on U-Tube for Free!!!!!!!!

Here is another very good site that has tons of great information.

    Auto Art Magazine

Hope that helps you get a good start. Jimbo

I just checked the link to Auto Art Magazine and it did not work so let me try it again using the post to reply at the top of the page instead of the Quick Reply at the bottom of the page.

    Auto Art Magazine
