1940 ford truck glass in a 46 door

has anyone put a 40 glass in a 46 truck door. i have mint 46 doors but dont like the frame around the glass.

i assume maybe i can us 40 weatherstrip and fuzzies with 40 glass with no frames and just bolt into door.

if i can, can i just use my mint 46 lower track window fits in, but unbolt the upper frame from it, or do i need 40 window tracks? i assume it will work and cannot be seen any way to see the unused bolt holes.
