I've been searching for some kind of small, clean Molex-style plug that can be mounted rigidly to a bulkhead/firewall, etc. -- without any luck. The plug can be 4, 6, 8 wire or whatever, but I need to ***emble the connectors myself and it needs tabs or something to mount it rigidly. Molex makes a 22 wire bulkhead plug, but it's huge and way more connections than I need. American Autowire has 'em too, but they're big and horsey looking. Anyone got a source? Thanks.
radio shack....you cut a rectangular hole the correct size, and the tabs get bent back and snap into the hole to hold the connector in place. http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2103252 I'd use something else if it were me, but this is the traditional Molex type connector that you asked for. Amphenol, Cannon, etc. make better ones,of the round sealed variety. Or course you didn't state the current requirements so it's hard to give you a good recommendation.

What did u use? Because I don't have much room in my nova for the big bulk connector that I have? Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
You might seriously consider - not terminating - wires at the firewall. You get to decide where they p*** through the body grommets. Just run them where they need to go and terminate them there. Wires can go with the body, if removed, or snip wires inside firewall grommet where Molex connectors can be installed upon re***embly. Works best with multi color wire looms.
Did you find anything to your liking? Some Molex plugs, maybe most, come with ears for panel mounting. They almost look like mold flash and often get trimmed off. Would that work for you?
I used this connector in my roadster for the gauge cluster harness. Its actually designed for a weatherproof p***-thru... Here's a link to the shop where I got it...http://www.precisionautomotivespe**...nnectors-Relays-Solenoids-Terminals-Wire.html Stan......OOPS ! just re-read your original post and this may have more connectors than you need..(22 pins)...but ,its not very large ..2 1/2 " or so
