I think this is a perfect example to add to the Thread about "stingy car part owners"

Holy*****...its like the motherload of cars. Maybe he bought them to save them but...wow...lost of rust...lots of cars sitting on the ground, or the ground moving up to the bottom of the cars.

Its unbelievable the amount of things this person has....

...a guy dies...the kids sell it off to "live fat" off of his hobbie. Grubby, stick handed retailers will get the parts and "high dollar" the parts back to us.

I guess I could call him a hoard :(....since not a one car is even done...

    Custom 4-door Mercury convertable? WOW

    Unbelievable.

They were passing out flyers for that at Goodguys in Indy. I bet nothing will go cheap. If I lived withing an hour of it, it would be worth checking out anyway.

Bastards! I didn't know that. It is a fairly high profile auctionhouse I guess... :(

If you look at their web site, it looks like they do a lot of these kinds of auctions.

They are doing one in S.D. with something like 1000 cars!

I thought they had a lot of coupes and pickups but a closer look sure cut that count. Lots of pics of the same cars from different angles*****tered around in the list looks like more cars.

I'm pretty sure this guy had a museum that was open to the public. He bought cars and restored them for years. These are probably his parts cars, or the projects that he just didn't get to.

Sheeeesh....it's 4 hours from my place......I'd like to just see it all!

Before I was interested in hot rods, I went with my grandpa to an auction that had a fair amount of Model A stuff. It was likes sharks smelling blood! There was JUNK that went for $3500. High rollers just being spiteful and it turned into who had the deepest pockets.....crazy stuff!

I wish I had about 10k to waste, I'd head north

OMFG!!! That's a lot of stuff! I think those albums are Ford ads that were given to radio stations to play. You could spend 10 years just cleaning that stuff up for storage.

Why is it when you see old convertibles, they've all been stored outside under the trees?? Just curious.

You think some one would have sold some of that stuff before it got too weathered, like that sweet white model A pick-up with half its wheels in the mud.

That place is kinda known for a few********* hotrodders around Ohio. It surfaced about two years ago with a good amount of deuce coupe and roadster stuff(all gone now), A very nice tudor was pulled out and a couple of 34 coupes were******* early for real cheap!! But as things go word got out and prices went up. The 32 pickup was availible last year for around $6000-$7000... heard was it was sold but it hasnt moved an inch since I was last there last summer.
I'm going to a field meet for a local Hot Rot gang that is about three miles from it this weekend. I plan on going over and checking out whats left... Any one looking for somthing inpaticular?

There is a couple lofts in the barns we snuck into last year that are unmolested and fuul of good*****.
It will be well worth going if you mind paying what things are worth.
