yup, Thats pretty cool Tuck, those are a good looking car, I can't belive that they are still so reasonable in the US have been a few come over here recently, one I went for a ride in looks to have been stolen the other day, hell of a shame it was a sweet car........
Plans for paint? Tripple black- thats it. CLEAN no*********. The louvers are busy enough... The quarters need attention-- but other than that its a OK driver It was black from the factory- with a black interior (white headliner) and a 289 with overdrive. Cool**** combo if you ask me... I always see them with wierd color interiors... and I LIKE BENCH seats over the XL buckets--- jolene and I can make out as we drive down the freeway haha--- I need to get the spiders on it- but I kinda dig it open hub... its dirty ha- Radshit- yeah- if everything goes as planned... bring your TRUCK I miss seeing it around- Tuck
Well, that pretty much shatters at least three styling rules I had about that era of car. First off, you're running wide whites, which I thought rarely worked well on a car that new. Second, you've decided to go with a straight-up black paint job, where I'd normally say that something along the lines of flake and panels were in order. Lastly, it's got a louvered hood, which I almost always hate. That car really nails the look, though. Now you just need an interior with plenty of white in it. Very cool. It gets me motivated to start working on my '63 G-lax. WW's may be in order some time in the future:
that is a****y******... i love those things. didja get my PM re: artwork? maybe send me the vector of the one of bleed's roadster and i'll show you what i can do. illustrator if possible. thanks dude.
hm...yeah... that car is tight... I was talking to some old guys yesterday and they said it is an "art" to know when to quit with a car... i think that is a perfect example of subtle and how it WILL attract more attention at a show than every orange, purple and blown big block fiberglass 32 jellybean car. tok
