this is my buddy cowboy vinny,s 58 plym that he has been working on for about the last ten years it,s a frame off he,s hopeing to have done for this summer
A ´58 Plymouth Convertible? That HAS to be a rare car. Well worth working 10 yrs on, at any rate. I take it the headlights are ´58 Chrysler units turned upside down, correct...?
yes and the back bumper is a 61 chry,s front with a connie kit from a 57 ford it,s been a on again off again project he had one in high school and always wanted another one alot of under stated things done to it fury speed-o smooth fire wall and many more thanks for looking
tail lights look good....headlights...not that good. Maybe with a little more work I could see it. But that is a pretty rare car. Maybe stock headlights up front would be better.
i,m not that carzy about the headlights ether but it does look better with the grille in it but it,s his car
Knowing all the trouble Vinny had with that car all through the years, I am SOOOO glad to see it finally close to being finished. Glad he had the courage, and strength to keep plugging away at it. Did you guys know that a long time ago, he had the body separated from the frame, and a s**** collector took the frame? Took many years to find a replacement...convert frames are different from the others!
hi mark remenber that well and the time we had to carry the body out of the garage in union i,m so glad that it,s close to being done too and i,m sure vinny wants to thank you for all the help you did to make his dream come true
Can't say i'm into the front end at all, these were pretty bad *** from the factory, and the headlight mod he did just doesn't make sense. The tail lights aren't bad though. It is his car, but damn, hes got the holy grail of 58's and it just doesn't work
i like how the tail lights came out. i can see the headlights being done like that back in the day as one them quirky old kustoms
Love it or hate it...who cares its his car and no one asked our opinion. Good for him to have the balls to finish a 10 year project. I'd like to see some pics after it hits the light of day!
