Been gone a while, but I am back. Here's what I been working on.

    Been gone a while, but finally got back from over sees. Got a new toy on the computer called google sketchup, which is a free download. Here are some of my latest. For a free CAD program it is pretty sweet. The first is a 1951 Chevrolet 4100 series Tow Truck and the dealership is one that still exists here in ND but has been closed for 30 years. Being structuraly stable and probably dirt cheap makes me think it may be my future hot rod shop. I am only speculating on all the stuff it originally had like the station on the side but it had been open since at least 1941 and a lot of dealers had stations or at least pumps. I also imagine the gl*** blocks that run under the counter and along the wall in the showroom were back lit in neon. The circa is 1957 and the new lineup is seen in the lot. There is also a 1941 Indian that one of the grease monkeys drive out back and one of the farmers stopped in with the old Willy's. Notice "Holstein is doing his rounds in the 57 Mercury. But for now here it is...

    ARTEMIS1759 - Just curious where is that of chevrolet dealership located? I was born in ND and have alot of family back there! and I have family in the ND air guard!

    That is an interesting software program for no charge,may have to download and try it out.
