Where do I get a leaf spring made? KS, OK, TX

Well, City Spring is no longer in the biz of making leaf springs. Anyone know where I can get a main leaf made for my '48 axle to mount the spring above. Running speedway perches, needs to be 35+ inches eye to eye. Someone said Posie made a spring for this application but couldn't find it listed anywhere. Anyone have someone they use?

GV, since when? I had one made there a year ago.....

 

American got me out of a big jam last year...I broke a main leaf on the front of my Pete on a FRIDAY afternoon....found one and they got me rolling by 5:00 PM....I was hauling repair parts for the Vero Beach, FL power plant after that first hurricane...thanks to them, Vero Beach got their power back two days earlier...

I have used this place for all sorts of stuff in the past. They make all sorts of suspension related part to specs. We have had leafs made, custom U-bolts for lowering kits, custom wound coil springs.

Atlas spring and axle in Wichita, do great work, fast, getting a little pricey. Got good selection of shakels, u-bolts all that stuff. Have used them alot on de-arching springs to. 4500 irving , 316-943-2386

 

Hey Root,

Twisted Okie took my spring by this week and they told him they no longer made springs only installed. If you find out different let me know, but looks like I have some other options. Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

when you go to tulsa spring ask for alan ,hes an old guy that has forgot more about springs than most of us know.

 

Whatever you do don't use National Spring in Olathe, Kansas, they SUCK!
