This is my first post and I wanted to show the crowd my project. I am building a 34 chopped and channeled pickup, the bed has been cut to four feet. For power I am using a 304 International V8 that has been ultrasonically tested for wall thickness then over bored a quarter inch to except International 392 pistons. Compression is 10to1 and there has been extensive head work done. And I installed roller rockers from Murphys Machine Shop. The motor has been ran for a couple years and complained in a BAJA race truck. It has been freshened up with a rebuild for my Hotrod project. I have been working on this for a couple years and I am near the completion. All the mock and fab work has been done, powder coat has been completed, now I have a rolling ch***is. the headers and exhaust will be complete this week. Here are a couple pictures for your approval.....Robert

Very interesting build, and extra points for using an IH engine.

Be sure to go back and do an introduction like the boss wants...

Very cool on using the 304 IH Mill, you get serious bonus points for that. Now go do an introduction before you lose your bonus points.

    Good Luck

Thanks guys intro done, and I have an update on my truck. I did not like the way the Alt stuck out past the grill shell. Looked like a pin wheel to me so I used an old school fix. I will be running the Alt with the drive line, I will also be using a deep cycle sealed battery under the seat. I have a ford 8.8, it had a snubber mount and this worked well for a mount.
