cad 331-390 oil pans

    just testing the waters here. have an artist buddy who does sand casting of alluminum parts (he mostly does motorcycles). thinking about doing a finned oil pan for each of my motors. anyone else out there interested if we can make it happen

    And quality. I had a finned pan on my 283 Chevy, and it leaked around the front cover. Finally just took it off and put the stock pan back on, which took care of the leaks.

    I'm going to attempt it. I'm gonna get the exact dims when I tear down my 1962 390 this weekend. I worked as a pattern maker for several years. It cannot be that hard. I want to go with the finned raw casting look. I'll post more as I go.
