I have heard about these "Lolifer' guys somewhere before. I definatly do a lot of listening and learning. We just left the shop after messing with the front spring set up a little bit. It sure is cold out here in the land of Oklafornia!! -Charlie

Thanks guy! I have just been working on some small parts so no cool update. I am blaming it on the weather. It is 34°F ....For me that translates to -200° below 0. Limey Steve, you don't like the column and Grant steeting wheel that resembles wood???? -Charlie
Sorry I missed you at Jason and Jim's today. I was traveling through headed for Denver! Keep in touch!
We will catch up next time! I will be in touch. Have fun in Denver! I got a firewall from Jim and Jason and I can't wait to get it installed.
Still at it. I gave it a good power wash. The door hinges are in pretty bad shape. They are all bent and twisted pretty bad. It is taken a some work but they are starting to fit a lot better. I am missing a few door hinge bolts. I also need new door pins.
AU-STIN! AU-STIN! AU-STIN! AU-STIN! AU-STIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you can't you can't....don't short cut but it would be cool if you could get it to Austin! I hope I can make it to the Round-up. It's looking iffy for me being as I'm trying to get settled in out here in Denver!
Subscribed...Cool car...Great find! It sure does pay to follow up on every lead! Thats how I wound up with my car, It was right under my nose for a long time all I had to do was ask...No where near as cool as yours, but how many guys that you grew up with have a car built before their parents were born? Keep up the good work, I only put in a half day or so on mine some weeks and its in my own garage, but 2 kids under 5 will do that to a guy!
It is a slow process for me Andy, and a huge learning experience! Hope this small update can hold you over. Major updates are few and far between. We made the choice to use new frame rails with this project. Don't pay any attention to the tires, those are just for rolling purposes. The car was in a pretty decent rear end collision at some point in its life. It is taking some time, but we are doing our best to fix it correctly. You can see my custom drivers seat from this picture! Check out the dash. Some holes need to be filled. The next step is to see what lurks under that old paint, but that is all for now. -Charlie
The body is starting to shape up. This is quite the learning experience for me and I have the right guys doing the teaching! Its coming together slowly but surly. I was looking forward to getting over to my uncles and working on it all weekend (4days) but unfortunately I have come down with tonsillitis . This is all possible thanks to all you Veterans. God Bless you! -Charlie
Great progress on a sweet car. I can't believe you're replacing those diamond plate running boards with boring stock ones. Gonna lose that utility look
I hope to have more progress soon. I have been following your build Daddy O, keep up the good work. I have the wheel well patches ready to go in. I need the inner trunk lid panel as well. rockfish - it pains me to get rid of such quality utility running boards. lol
