Excellent taste, style and workmanship. I don't think I can reember anything he's built for himself that I wouldn't be proud to own. I visited John's shop ,with my good friend, Al Bergler several years ago. Nice guy.................Mike Farris

  6. That thing is ***y and I pulled another idea off it, not a copy but inspiration!

  7. Nice work, something about a gloss black A that grabs me. They just look right.
    Great chop helps too.

Just found this and went through the entire thread. All I can say is astounding! I was blown away by the stance, chop, hood, etc. from the get go. What a craftsman! Subscribed.

Well the car is ready for the roof to get done and the upholstery, he has all the panels made. Getting pretty well ****oned up. No new pics right now since it looks the same.

Also, kinda cool, he took a pedal car, turned it into a pull wagon style car, lowered it, put a pull handle on it with heim joint steering, added a floor pan in it. cool!

All kidding aside, John builds some of the nicest hot rods around and he is a really nice guy. His son-in-law, on the other hand......HAHA!

looks great ! any info on those trim rings ?

  30. Normally, if someone would have told me about a black Model A with red wires on it, I wouldn't get too excited. Damn, that car is freakin' bad***! I love the stance, the tire heights, the colors, everything. Very simple, elegant, but sinister. I really, really like that car. I don't know what color he's doing the top insert and interior in , just hope it's black and subtle.

That car just became my new screensaver. Can't wait to see it when it's finished.
