Excellent taste, style and workmanship. I don't think I can reember anything he's built for himself that I wouldn't be proud to own. I visited John's shop ,with my good friend, Al Bergler several years ago. Nice guy.................Mike Farris
Nice work, something about a gloss black A that grabs me. They just look right. Great chop helps too.
Just found this and went through the entire thread. All I can say is astounding! I was blown away by the stance, chop, hood, etc. from the get go. What a craftsman! Subscribed.
Well the car is ready for the roof to get done and the upholstery, he has all the panels made. Getting pretty well ****oned up. No new pics right now since it looks the same. -Gary
Got some more pics of it, absolutely love how this car sits... still needs interior done and top covered. -Gary Also, kinda cool, he took a pedal car, turned it into a pull wagon style car, lowered it, put a pull handle on it with heim joint steering, added a floor pan in it. cool!
He isn't old Pete. He is my age. Your just really young. And yes he is very talented.... and such as nice guy as well.
All kidding aside, John builds some of the nicest hot rods around and he is a really nice guy. His son-in-law, on the other hand......HAHA!
Normally, if someone would have told me about a black Model A with red wires on it, I wouldn't get too excited. Damn, that car is freakin' bad***! I love the stance, the tire heights, the colors, everything. Very simple, elegant, but sinister. I really, really like that car. I don't know what color he's doing the top insert and interior in , just hope it's black and subtle. That car just became my new screensaver. Can't wait to see it when it's finished.
