The 63 has always been one of my favorite Chevrolets. A friend had a 63 that he drag raced it had a 327/300 4 speed combination with the greatest set of headers I have ever seen. They exited over the front tire right at the top of the wheel well. Good luck with your "new" car. Very nice.
Sweet ride! Man, I love that neighborhood. All my neighbors have their cars on blocks, and that's no joke.
Oh baby,! I had a 63 4dr hardtop. Out of a ton of cars I've owned, that is in my top three. I had it lowered pretty close to the ground with, possibly off topic, 17" crater ss wheels. Kind of the newer style with a little old style. Had 327 and a 4 speed Muncie. Damn fast car. Great purchase!
Nice 63 and the right wheels too.....as said glad it didn't go "lowrd", I am headed to a buddies in a bit to see a 63 SS 327/300 4-speed car he just brought home, silver blue on blue and never apart or molested. Hey enjoy your ride..........
Love that color, similar to what my car is now. Want to repaint it with something less flat, make it nice and shiny like this. But cosmetic stuff is going to have to be the last thing on my list.
That's the same color as the '63 convertible I owned in the late 60's. I always liked that car & that color (Mediterranean Blue?). It was a fantastic car which I drove for about 100,000 miles. The wheels & blackwalls look real good on yours.
Nice outcome, jq63...that color compliments the '63s lines very well. As said above, now go out and ENJOY that mo-sheen!
My 1st car was the same... same color... I bought it from my uncle he was so picky about this car he only had 58,000 on it when he sold it to me in 1971... it was tough to pay $800 then... man I wish I had it now... and now I know what a deal it was!
Man nice car. Back in 74 I had one just like that......but it was a 64 an it was black an it was a pontiac . Serious tho I did also have a white 64 impala ss in 74.
Nice, love the cragars puts me back in high school, I have a 64 I am doing right now same color originaly not sure if I will keep that color, have cragars for it too. It was the car my wife learned to drive a 4speed in back in 76.
