elyria,ohio; george Shaeffer,'50-60's racer?

I just bought some speed equipment shipped to george in '63;anyone know where/what he raced? Curiousity has me wanting to build this engine and put it in a car like he had. Anyone? where is Elyria anyway?

 

Elyria is about 30miles west of Cleveland. If you look on the map its almost dead center of the state and about 8-10miles off the lake shore.

I asked my dad and he doesn't remember a George Shaeffer. However he did go to high school with a kid who's last name was Shaeffer, they would've been about 16 in '63. He said he remembers around that time this kids dad or uncle was putting together a 33 or 34 Ford Coupe. He said he'll ask a couple of his friends that were a little older than him to see if they remember a George Shaeffer.

If you don't mind me asking, what do the parts fit?

 

Thanks,tha parts are for a 378 olds;Engle roller cam and kit,6-2 log manifold.Weiand timing cover and Jahns popups. Serious street engine or bad *** drag. Also high lift adjustable rockers. All with the receipt from '63.......a time capsule.
