I am seeking some information for shipping a 62 Galaxie from Phoenix, Arizona to Houston, Texas. The car is bagged and I really don't want some know-it-all truck driver messing with my s**t. Does anyone have first hand experience with anyone that handle a full sized sled like that without leaving some new tribal scratches down the side or anything?

BenD if he can work it into his schedule. Hell, I'd just go get it and drive the damned thing and be done with it. If it runs and drives and can't make that trip on it's own it's not worth having.

it runs and drives great, i just cant take the time off school or work to do it. i was going to fly down and drive back. but then money starts to become an issue

  6. There are more choices for transport on the HAMB ....

    Do a keyword search using ' transport ' - ' haul ' - ' ship '

Everything from a HAMBer with an empty trailer headed
your way to folks doing it on a regular basis .....

Enclosed would be the way to go with a low deck height
for loading & unloading along with long ramps for the
    low clearance ......

Would you prefer a know nothing truck driver hauling it?

I can't imagine any hauler costing less than a one-way ticket on Southwest Airlines, a cab ride and some gas bills for the rest of the trip home. That would be about a hour and a half or so flight and a 2 day drive home to Houston.

Try U-ship.com, the guys on there have feed back, and you can wheel and deal on the price.

    2 days! ......if you're sight seeing. That's a 17 hour straight shot!;)
West Texas speed limit is 80 after all.
