PLATU, chief editor of Primer Magazine Welcome all HAMBers to the Rumble 2006!
wow! Now I wanna come there just to go to a car show. It is hard to find a slouch in the bunch! Very nice cars with fresh ideas! FONZI
Thanks man, i have to admit i cheated a little with the electric fan. But it was the easy way to go with extra low radiator, wich is because of the channeling. Jaypee
Thanx to all the guys in Pistons KK for all your hospitality this weekend and for the great party! we will be there next year too!! a special huge thank you to Teemu and Heidi that put upp with all 11 drunken swedes in their cute li'l cottage!
Hot damn! Those are some killer cars. I especially love the the black '47-48 and the roadster pick up next to it. For a second i thought someone stole my rides and took them to Finland, but then I realized your are much better! I have a similar chopped '48 and am working on a '29 rpu. I dream of the day when mine are looking as sweet as these though.
It´s ´46. I chopped it one and half year ago, owner is Ilkka Suokkola. These photos are from last year -
Right, I should have notice it's a '46 from the trim. I actually just found some '46 trim pieces in a junkyard last year and put them on my '48. They look much better than the plain '48 style. Unfortunately the junkyard car did not have the p***enger-side door piece. I'm still on the hunt for the door piece. I'll try to take some photos of mine and send them to you this week.
Jim, thank you guys for participating our show, it was a pleasure to meet you guys. See ya at the end of july. Jani
I have some pictures left, for example my friend Tuomo's Citroen 2CV powered mc which he unfortunately broke because of too hard hand-use clutch rod...
I just wanna say THANK YOU PISTONS for doing what you do! You guys sure took great care of us Swedes this weekend! When you come to Stockholm the next time you know who to call. And thanx for posting up my Pan Chopper...
I found one from the jokers car show two weekends ago... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v387/lowlow/Jokerskarkraze/IMAG0001.jpg
Kartsa posted last winter a nice project tech thread of Lincoln and a few days ago he add two nice pictures of that Lincoln in Pistons' Rumble, you may check it out: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=33425&highlight=kartsa I'm running short with my pictures but I will add some more shots soon when all HAMB-problems have been solved. Mika
I am always blown away by you guys in Finland, your attention to period correct detail is always impressive, especially considering you have to go the extra mile to find all of your parts. Especially some of the custom that are just dead on early-Barris stlye.
OK, I made a good work of the day and created an album. I hope you like the rest of the pictures also. I didn' put those pictures with people on the Hamb at first but there they all will be since now. http://photobucket.com/albums/y108/Karimix/Events/Pistons Rumble 2005/ Mika
