Can you put newer model tail light on an older car?

I was working on a Photoshop of it but I lost it because I had to many things running on my PC and Illustrator crashed it. Anyway when I do it I'll post it.

I've got '56 Ford tail lights on my '63 Falcon
Does that make it alright or is that b*** ackwards?...

It's your car, do what you damn well want and if you like it that's the only person who matters.

 

There are a lot of guys that wear womens clothes too but that doesn't make it right. Leave those lights on the Mini where they belong.
