    bad ass car!

I think you may be mistaken on engine displacement
in 57 the eldorados had the dual quads on a 365ci
that started in 56 till 58
    in 59 they changed to a 390
but 55 was the last year for the 331 I think (maybe 54?)

being in prescott and having a caddy, do you know the Wagners?

if I am wrong then sorry, either way the car is damn nice

  5. Not trying to cause any grief here but that is a Seville not a Biarritz. Biarritz were convertables. Here's a little pointless party trivia, What year was the two-four setup not issued as standard equipment on Eldorados? answer: 1957. They were optional that year on Seville and Biarritz, standard only on Brougham.

    Hubnut, That is not true.

Bob, That car was on the HAMB a while back, if it wasnt you about 5 months ago it was a previous owner. If you find the post you might get some history on it or at least find someone who knows.
And yes, this is the wrong area, post in the general section for more answers.

  7. Well, I own one, and have done tons of research on them, everything I have read tells the same story: standard on 55-56 all Eldos, optional on 57 except Brougham. I have a good friend that has restored these cars for 25 years who claims that there were actually more 57's ordered without the two-fours than with them.

I will agree with hubnut on this because I remember something about that during some research on a 2x4 manifold I was identifying

Hey Hubnut I want to go to one of your parties where they have trivia like that!
