    What`s your budget ?

I stay at The Emb***y Suites every year. Really nice place with parking garage and space available for trailers. Not very far from the action on South Congress.

$149 night if you mention "Lone Star Round Up".

No matter where you stay, you better reserve now. The good hotels sell out for this weekend.

This should show the hotels/motels close to Congress.

Austin Motel is A or F click on the little dots around it for close by motels/hotels

I'd be willing to pay a few more bucks for a room rather than be 20 miles away from the action.
Most of the ones in that close area should be within staggering distance of Congress.

You have to remember though that a lot of guys reserve their room for the next year either when they check out or as soon as the date gets announced so they may be few and far between.

That looks like a damn good idea. No hotel parking lot BS, a good deal if your bringing a few friends too.

Maybe some of the guys in the area can help you.

Rooms are getting filled up quickly by this time of year, but you should be able to find something fairly close. However, do it now.

    I got my rooms reserved.

If you`ve never stayed at Emb***y... I am telling you --- the place is super nice, great parking, the FREE breakfast is excellent.

    $149 is hard to beat.

Stayed there last year, and would stay again. Nice, basic, clean room. Don't let the price scare you. At 35 bucks it's cheaper than last year, and a steal.

At the suggestion of Straykatkustoms I checked out Candlewood suites, just south of 71 on 35, the rooms are decent and 1/2 what I paid last year at the Round Up or for the 2010 Revolution weekends (I didn't stay at the host hotels at either event as I was too late to get a room).

It's farther South than most would like to stay, but if the hosts are full it's a good option.

If you have not found a room as yet....you had better git-a-goin, everything that is along S. Congress is filled except for the $250 a nighter's. Go to the Lone Star Round Up web site and click on the list of suggested hotels. Also if you want to stay near the Expo Center where the Round Up is held try the Econo Lodge on hwy 290 (they can also suggest some others around them) it is about 3 miles from the car show. Bad news all the night time happenings are along S. Congress and that's where you want to be and that would be 10 - 15 miles away. Good Luck

No problem. I spoke to them yesterday and they are blocking even more rooms for us.
