heres some stuff from me for this week

#1 is the design i started sketching out for a t-shirt...its actually going to be a stencil so the lines wont connect...which im learning wasnt a good idea as its a real pain to think about that while drawing

the other 2 are a pannel i did to cover the hole in the floor of the roadster...i tried to make it look like it was the corner of an old sign from my shop or something that i trimmed down to fit in the car...its engine turned..then painted black to leave the logo turned...then all rubbed through and whatnot with sandpaper/brake cleaner

not too productive this week aside from wireing!

My favorites so far are the Slide stuff both grown up and 4 year old, and the Wet Paint striping, especially the first shot. It has sort of a perfect circle in it which looks impossible.

I'm using the Friday Art Show to motivate myself to make something every week. While I was up north last weekend, I had some time to just sit and paint. (It was cold out anyway.) I did this toolbox with my name on it. Still practicing. It was all freehand though. No guidelines or nothin'.

earl scheib-- I am really diggin Brandon's stripes. They have an unusual feel to them with the (almost) right angles combined with the curves. It makes for a nice contrast.

decided i wanted a fancy new striping box...couldn't find anything worth using, so i decided to make my own...just finished it up tonight with the actual painting of it...
if i had to do it again, i would probably do some things different...but oh well..
it's 2ft long, 1 ft. high, and 8 inches deep with a drawer for brushes and goodies.

Looks nice Kritz I dig it and like the br***. I've been thinking about doing one for me out of extra oak I got for hardwood floors. I't would probably weigh a ton though what did you use and how the weight with it full.

  8. As usual, lots of nice work here. Psychoarts, that RF cleaver rules. Kritz, I'm envious of that box, both the box itself and the striping on it. I've been looking for a good wooden box for a while now. The lettering on there kicks ***.

Just a couple from me this week. First up is a metal toolbox I bought because I was thinking of trying my hand at striping at shows. It's way too damn small, but what the hell, it was cheap and I can always keep my extra **** in an old ammo can 'till I score a wood box. This was my first real attempt at lettering- it turned out okay [I did it with my striping sword. I need some lettering quills].
