    Good day!

Hailing from sunny Hollywood CA! Looking to find like minded people in the area.

I am new to the forum and to classic cars but have been around the lifestyle since I can remember. I never wanted to have someone hand me my car so it took time for me to find my 'Pretty Lady' so to speak. I currently have a '59 Ford Galaxie with a 223. And she's a beauty! Couldn't be happier with her!

Before taking her on any long cruises I want to drop my 223 and swap it for a 292. I have the block and tranny for the switch but it appears I'm running into a small problem. I have my motor mounts but I believe I need a mount bracket as well. Is this true? I was told the block should have this bracket already attached to the bay but have not had a chance to check. I have called around quite a few places with little luck.

Thanks in advance with any and all advice!

I'll post pics soon. Kinda on works computer :D

    Good Kat Matt
