I am looking to go down to the Decatur Swap Meet next weekend. What should I expect? How does it compare to Pate?

It is one of my favorite swap meets. Its not nearly as big as Pate but it is getting bigger every year and it is a lot easier on the knees because it is on dirt.

Like Whitezombie said, smaller then Pate but without rows of moterhomes/ trailers to walk by. Pate was better before they moved it.

Best place to eat in Decatur is Sweety Pie's Ribeyes on the southwest corner of the square downtown.

LOL yes come down from Michigan. Excellent. we have not had winter here this year. anything less than 150" of snow for the year isn't worth discussing IMO. I will be in town on Thursday. Any car hotspots to hit that night?

The 5th annual Texas Thaw nostalgia Drag race is on this weekend Fri. night and all day Saturday north of Denton Tx on I-35, just a short drive from Decatur. Stop by and see all your Hamb friends from all over Texas and the southwest...

My spaces are 1235-1237 and 1135-1137 on the south end of the swap meet. Stop by and say hi. Keep an eye out for my company car.

Next to the bleachers , the sign in for the Thaw trailer , most everybody with an older than 70's car . You will find us, look for the Gas House gang Banner, stop by and introduce yourself ! Most anyone doing a wheelie is one of us.

Nice score Anderson! The Edmund intake was a find for sure!

Lobuckrod, happy to find the front runners for your 'TOP-SECRET' project for you. "It's only money"!

Hell, all I found were these old flathead s****s. The intake doesn't even have a gen. mount. I may ask for a refund. The intake has 'special' stamped small on both sides of the water necks. WTF.

Yeah Ken, and the front runners were so close to us if they had rattlers on their tails we'd a got bit. Guess I better get back to work on the Secret Project now.

IF nothign else you can melt down those s****s and make beer cans out of em.
