family emergency last night, lucky i got a good friend i can call anytime to help me out, he just drove off with my car headed to the suede room.

 

ill be out side with "searching for beaches" bumming change for gas to get home lol....but im coming cant wait

 

This is a Great show! All you guys and gals need to get to Sacramento if you can and check this show out!
Highlight of my day was being able to talk at length with Penny Pichette!...
Also had a chance to talk to my longtime friend Von Hot Rod.

I went yesterday, thought this was kinda cool, except for that dumb *** that keeps poking his mug in there! Talked to the owner Phil it has an original Arias motor, one of two hundred built. He runs through 11 gallons of fuel in his short presentations.

I'd swear that I have heard that engine t******* though the Puyallup fairgrounds for Goodguys about every other hour. Real pro fairground rig.

 

I used to see this running on the street cruise thru Route 66 Rendevous in San Bernardino Ca. way back in the early 90s. He was running a different engine then with two stacked blowers! Wild Thang!!!!

 

Yeah! I remember that car, back when it actually ran forward...

suede room was happening tonight!

 

Suede Room was awesome tonight. I placed 2nd for the Dagmars Trophy pick... First wasnt there so it went to me ha ha. I'll take runner up. Got to hang out and bull **** with Brad Masterson for a little bit. Good music all day, much thanks to Axle and Celeste for another great Suede Room today. They put in alot of work to make it run so smooth... And if it isn't smooth it sure seems to be. Congrats to Masterson and the HAMBs own M Edell for trophy picks. A few other HAMBers got awards, too but I'm forgetting who.

Fun times, can't wait to see some more pictures.

 

We gave our club pick to Brad Masterson with his 51 Chevy. It's such a cool car and that packard side trim looks awesome.

Had a damn good time.. Great meeting you Rocky! Thank You Axle and Celeste for everything once again.I find it a bit offensive that they didn't even mention you guys or the Suede Palace at the Award ceremonies on Sunday Night...
