i came across a deal on a set of 670-15 bf goodrich that i couldn't let p*** by but now i'm debating if i should go 670-15 all around the car or go with a bigger tire on the rear to give it that hot rod look..does anyone have any pics of different 36 fords with 670-15 all around or different tire combos thanks im sure there's a thread on the hamb but can't seem to locate it
I've seen many 35/36's with same size that looked great..but it all depends on ride height, rake or not, or overall build style. You will know if it is wrong for yours, once you put them on.
For my taste, this '36 has the best stance and tire sizes I've ever seen. I would guess that they are 6.40s and 8.20s, but I could be wrong: Part of the reason that this car works so well is that it's pretty low in front, almost certainly with a dropped axle. I wouldn't use this much rubber rake on my car unless I was also going to put an axle in it.
This is what I got on mine and the 8:20 s are tall but fill the wheel well up real nice but if you are running skirts and taildragging it I would go smaller than the 8:20 s
If ride height is close to stock, you will find the 6.70's to be somewhat small, at least to fill the rear fender-well.
