New toy 59 Elcamino????

After looking high and low for 3 months for a 59 Elky, my friend found me this!!!!!! I think it's cooler!!!!!

 

that's really nice, great stance, timeless color , and you watch, slots are gonna be the new torq-thrusts...

 

don't ever ruin the back door. 59 was the lowest production sedan delivery there was. I had a buddy look for 7 years for a back door in any condition. That was before the computer craze though. Nice truck. I have always liked sedan deliverys.What engine is in it? 348 would be cool.

 

I'd take that anyday over an elky... love the slots.

 

MUCH cooler than an Elky! And it looks phenomenal. I'm with the other guys, I wouldn't change those wheels one bit. They really work on the delivery. Kinda looks like a '70s stonermobile.

 

A 1959 Delivery, those are real hard to come by, go for it!

 

definately a badass ride. there's a guy I know in MD that has one that is turquoise. It was used as a flower car in JFK's funeral. Oh.... and i like Elkys better.

 

I've always loved the Elco's too, 1959-1960... I think they're like the best looking "late 50's cars" ever!

 

That's funny about the stonermobile comment. I thought the same thing!!

 

All it needs is some more color it seems a little to blue. Pannels scalops flames something. Other than that freaking awesome find.

I've had both El Caminos and a delivery. I'll take the delivery, they're more practical.

From what I'm seein' in the pic, that thing doesn't need nuttin' but to be driven.

Also, deliveries have the added feature of lettin' ya' sleep off that 12 pack ya' had at your buddies garage before ya' hit the road.

 

Maybe. It needs a few little things. Most of the lites don't work is the biggest deal. It's dark when i leave Bob's. I'll try to get at it between customers shit this week. Thanks boss.
