This heater came with my 1936 dodge pickup, it is missing Two (2) of the vent doors and I would like to know if anyone can id this thing, is it a factory unit or an aftermatket unit? Manufacture name? How old is it? Oh yeah it works too!

I'll say it is an aftermarket unit. Factory parts, even heaters, usually had a little style to them, aftermarkets too but lots of them were just made to deliver heat and the looks be damned or ignored.

The heater in my '36 Dodge pickup is square, I believe it is the original as the old black paint and pinstriping matched the truck & wheels. But who knows? You would have to find a sales brochure showing options available to be sure.

Just saw this. I will send pics to a friend with a '37 DB truck, see if he can help. Did you ask 31Dodger, he may know.

Thanks noboD and 36dodgeram, I'm in the process of restoring it, the back plate with the hose outlet was black, the main body was a dark maroon and the screen was a cream white.
