Thank you Jeff for this wonderful idea..As a member of Bobbys pit crew during those days I am very happy to see this Auction and I know Ruth will appreciate the poster also
Jeff thanks for producing an incredible Bobby Langley poster that we will also sell at our upcoming Nostalgic Drags and Rod Run which is scheduled for Saturday, March 3rd. at the Lonestar Motorsports Park on I-10 just west of Sealy, TX. Additionally, both Scorpion I and V will be at the event for a Special presentation to Bobby's life. Much more information is available at; www.niftee50ees.com under Car Show fliers. Not only does Jeff's work capture the incredible likeness of Bobby but features two of his most notable cars, Scorpion I and V. and the Remark was inspired by the actual account of Bobby setting a set of slicks on fire as he went down the track. This incident was caught on tape and no one has been able to recollect another incident of anyone setting a set of tires on fire. Anyone who is or has collected artwork knows the positive pricing affect a Remark has on a piece of work, so don't let this one slip away because this is truly a one of a kind and is not only worth a considerable amount now but will grow in value over the years. Jeff I know that the Langley family will be as Proud of the work as we are, again Many Thanks!
Guys now is the time to own a piece of history with a 1 of 1, Canvas of Bobby Langley that will not be reproduced, was done by none other than Jeff Norwell and has his personal Remark. As Jeff mentioned there will only be 2 other Canvas versions but neither will be like this one. One will hang in Don Garlits Museum and the other will go to Ruth Langley. Heck, I just may have to bid on it myself Jeff's work deserves and demands more respect than where we are with the bidding at this time!!
