  3. Looks like you given it a roof chop??, is that a quad cammer thats going in it? An yea a few more pics would be a little more informative.

  4. Working on the pics. Chopped 6 inches, putting her on a frame. 4.6 police interceptor.

  5. Sounds pretty cool. Can't wait to see more pics.

  7. What your looking at is the body on the rotisserie, with the new rails on a car-o-liner frame straightening bench under the body. Got a chance to get a little further on the mock up. Cut out the front rails and got the body down over the new frame. Really tempted to leave the g***er stance!:D Please excuse the "OT" motor, but It fits what I want to do in the future.

Chop is a little much for my taste but looks like a cool project.

  13. Been a long term project that keeps getting pushed back. fell into parts cheap, so time to at least get it together enough to see if its gonna even work. So far everything fits together pretty good. Got a v drive for it. Still reading up on suspension for the rear. I think It'll wheel stand. Gonna limit it if I have too. I want to drive it on the street. It's 6" chop / 6" vertical opening( WA st law) Yes its too low! What can I say, ......It was 1984, I had a saw, a mig, and there might have been a bong involved:eek: Right now I'm Just about ready to lob off the rest of the front aprons and firewall. Then I'll get back on my on topic project and put this one away again. Thanks for lookin

Have thought about doing a "chop" on our Opel someday. My "to do list" keeps getting longer as the days go by!!!!

I like it ... would make a sharp drag car ... keep posting

  18. We made some "progress" today. I didn't like the aprons and the firewall. As this is now the "trunk" I'll go with smooth and maybe stainless.

  19. I know I'll catch some **** from the "anti-clip crowd" but this Toyota pick up front torsion bar suspension looks like it will be perfect for this application. Still undecided about the rear suspension. Thinking about truck arm, maybe ladder bar. Anyone with wheel stander experience got any input? I plan to race it, but I'm really hoping it can be well mannered enough to drive on the street.
