    Hello,
I'm a newbe, this is my first post. I stumbled accross an "OLD" Rocket engine in an old Ford F6 farm truck. I took a few pictures. I do not know what he wants for it, any input would be welcome. Next, would like to know the year and which engine it might be. It looks like I may have get it out to find any ID numbers. I was able to find the carb tag 7007000, so know that it is a 4bl.

Welcome to the HAMB. Just looking at it, I would think it's a 1954 - 1956 324. You can get closer by getting the number near the center exhaust port on the head. There is also some numbers between the center and rear exhaust ports on the driver side head visible between the exhaust manifold runners. There are some good threads on here that tell what numbers are for what years.

For what it's worth, 7007000 is a '55 carburetor. If the engine's a '55, the heads should have a large 8 cast on the exhaust port. Being that it's in a truck with (I assume) a standard transmission, the fact that you'll be getting a stick flywheel on the deal makes it worth more.
