Talk to Limey Steve here on the HAMB. He has modded a T5 shifter and welded a 1939 Ford swan neck shift lever to the T5 shifter base. He's an Alliance Vendor and may be able to make one for you too - very traditional looking as well....

Not sure what your saying here............ Is the problem with the ball end that goes into the tailhousing or the shift stick end !!!

If it its the first, you may have to use the S10 shifter for it to work or if it is the other you can get a Pro-5 shifter so that you can bolt which ever offset stick from Hurst that suits your needs. You still may have to get one that fits a Camaro/Firebird, this is what I used for my conversion Camaro box with S10 T/S http://www.jegs.com/i/Pro-50/813/P3050/10002/-1?parentProductId=752406

If you don't find what you need I've got the S10 part.
Mine came from a 4X4 but should work.

I won't be using it to do my conversion to top mounted shifter anyway.
Let me know and I can send it to you or take some measurements and
make sure it will work for you.
