Your in the I.E. Take a drive to The truck and car shop of Orange. They have what you need. Here's the link

They will be at the Pomona swap meet coming March 4.

9" sounds a bit small maybe, but I'm not a '53 Chevy expert at all. I'd shop around and try some other places like NAPA or Rock Auto. Other (local to you) older established parts places may be able to get them too in a few days. Think about re-surfacing the flywheel too since you have the chatter.

That's Baloney! I bought a spotlight from them once and the one they sent me was a new style spotlight so I called them up and they said that they sent me the right one, which was ****. I had to pay to ship the damn thing back and never again have I dealt with nor recommended Chevs of the 40s.

I've had great luck finding older parts at my local NAPA stores and also Car Quest parts houses, at least they can have the parts within a few days most of the time, it's worth a shot. Another alternative is finding a local clutch rebuilder. The one by me could also get virtually any clutch-related part that I asked him about, like TO bearings and pilot bushings, fork clips, etc.

NAPA still lists them, and they are a 9 inch setup (9 1/8, to be exact).

Many towns have Clutch Re-builders, whose only business is re-building clutches and re-surfacing flywheels. I've used Valley Clutch, 5396 3rd St, Irwindale, CA 91706 Phone: (626) 962-8787

Just Google Clutch Rebuilders for your town, or look in the (online) Yellow Pages.
