I was rewiring the turn signal switch on my 53 ( keep in mind my wires were cloth covered and not color coded ), I shot out a thred Question at 8:30 at night with in 15 min "Squirrel" had replied not only with a answer but with a picture of the same part that was color coded. I was able to wire up my switch and get it right the first time.

I have learned alot and hope I have helped others as payment for what I have learned.

    MrC.
    Thanks again Squirrel

I've learned that I am not alone in my passion for period correct hotrods. There ARE others that get a charge out of finding that perfect part that fits their build perfectly.

I've learned that there are some very talented people doing some awesome work. I'm sooo jealous.:D

I've also learned that it's very hard to discredit the old wives tales that keep getting regenerated.

  5. That true craftsman exist everywhere, not just at that famous high end, expensive shop, in selected areas of the country (quite often in a 1 or 2 car garage in any neighborhood).

I've just learned to check the date a thread was started. Responding to an 18 month old post about a blown fuse can make you look like an imbecile.
