Will the grille from a 1958 Ford pickup bolt right up into a 1960 model? I've been wanting another 57-58 for a long time and all I can seem to find are 1960 models with that ugly-***ed grille and hood. I found a pretty straight 60 custom cab and a friend has a nice chrome 58 grille I can have, also can find a good 57-58 hood. I could live with the square turn signals.
The 58 grill has the buckets, doors and all the headlights in it already, so it should be a bolt up deal? Just wondering before I pull the trigger on a 60. thanks
Yep bolt in if you use the enmtire unit. There may be a hole or two that need to be relocated but it will just a matter of getting the ol' drill out of the box. If you want to do it all old school I got a drill that I can loan you from the era.
the57/ 58 signal lights are partly in the fender, were the 59/60 are in the grill so you will need some body work
Yeah, I know the fenders and front valance are different due to the turn signals, might have to improvise a little there.
