I just bought a 1965 GTO and it has a marking on one window that says Cl*** Winner AHRA sanctioned at Avilla dragway. Is it possible to get the dragway cl*** winner records? 1965? Probably B stock

hey... Awesome cars those 65 goats... My friend had one that we raced most weekends.. I raced a 67 Tempest.... Anyway... If I recall correctly ' Drag News" was a weekly (?) newspaper type deal ... BUT it had a lot of race results. I know they covered New England as I was in there but I can't recall much else. So... I would think it would possible that SOMEBODY someplace would/could tell ya more but the "Drag News" deal is where I'd start.
The 65 we raced was also B/S but was a single 4. and had 3:90s ran mid 12s but broke lots of stuff...

thanks everyone, I am going to check out those leads. I hope to get started on this one soon. My son is looking for a space to do our cars. He also makes airliner movie props. like Pan Am series, he did the 707 ****pit and supplied all the interior for the cabin, The event series he put a 767 on its belly in the desert. They make doing the cars possible.
