I just realized I have something that belongs to this car, **** Beiths #90H Streamliner. At the Bonneville World of Speed this past year, **** placed in my care a variety of his treasured BNI timing plaques issued each racer after the event. Each plaque inlcudes the owners name, cl*** and number, top speed of the event and year of the event.

These plaques included what I consider to be the holy grail of VW racing, the plaque for his first record setting VW bug in 1960 and one of two I focused on while out at the salt. A****st the others was the one I just looked at today and realized it was the 1964 plaque for the car shown here, ****s #90 H category streamliner. Top speed with the Mercury 44 ci engine is stamped as 141.50 miles per hour as you noted above HEMI32.

As soon as I get a good pic of the plaque, I will post it to this site. It is still dirty and has quite a few rust spots from setting at the bottom of a seldom used old tool chest in ****s shop.

This little streamliner has been a favorite of mine for over fifty years and only now did I realize a small part of the 'liner lives with me. Wow ! Life is neat.
