Car Club There is this car club in my town that restarted back up after a long time ago anyway I was ask to join which I did and I found what I was looking for great cars and good bunch of guy's so I though until I my first meeting all the guys I had been running with were the and then I there were some of the original members of the club man! I could tell that they though they we better then all the new members they had one broken car that hasn't run in 20 years and a vett. also in the by laws if your a a "original member" you didn't have to have a car to be in the club.well we the new guy's had a great summer car shows we started a like car show and then a morning show on sunday it was great of corse we had no show from the "original members" but we had a great time anyway. In our meeting we getting **** about what we were doing?and then in one meeting 2 of the "original members had a melt down the cops were call we were forced to kick out the 2 members out so now they have called all the "original members" and kick all of us out of there club and now they claim that 2 of the"original member are out to kick some *** did I tell you these guys are all over 62old
The Road Runners have been fun for 75 years. But then we're too busy racing to be bothered with petty ****.
I'm with you bubba, damn that was hard to read, but from whatbi understand it's best if the new guys just start a new club as was said earlier. These guys are old, leave them alone, geez if one of y'all decides to punch the **** out of one in self defense you might kill the old fart.
We started THE LOSERScc to keep that **** out. We are all equal as members new and old $1000.00 car or $100,000.00 car. If you flunk out of that your are not accepted as a LOSER. P.S. We are THE LOSERS of Ontario not to be mistaken with the original LOSERSc.c. from Wisconsin but with permission from them to use the name north of the 49th.
Didn't the " don't have to have a car to join a car club" throw up a flag about the club in the 1st place.
Yea it was hard to read, but I think we could see you were upset. Car clubs should be fun, if they're not move on to one that is or start your own. Once people see you having a good they will be flocking to join you. Regards
Picking on a fellow HAMBER's typing skills and/or grammer puts you guys right up there with the "Original Members" at***ude he is talking about. Just saying.... Cheers.........
HOLD ON there Im member #109 and try not to have any up tight at***ude. Never lump any one in a group it just may back fire.
Not to be a spelling/puncuation nazi, but it WAS hard to read AND understand. I know we're car guys, but spell check and some periods would make it easier for people to understand and make a worth while comment. Since you seem to understand what he's trying to say, maybe you can translate.
OK #109 and the others that feel the need to defend themselves.... *First if the shoe fits...wear it. In your case your comment didn't fit. *Second, the first (5) responses, (including your first post #11) as well as mine had no trouble reading or understanding it. *Third, with all the negative **** on here attacking posts and attempting to be a smart ***, I am surprised that you were bothered by my reaction. *Lastly, your post does not come close to being included with the group of old members he was talking about. As far as the others, my comment stands.. Cheers.
There is this car club in my town that started back up, after a long time. I was invited to join the club, seem like a great bunch of guys, great cars, so I joined up. The club seemed cool with guys I ran with and some old original members. The old members seemed to think they were better then the new members. The old members had one non running car and a Corvette. The old by-laws said: if you’re an "original member" you didn't have to have a car, to be in the club. The new guy's had a great summer going to car shows, plus we started a Sunday morning get to gather. We all had a blast with all the new members; it was a no show for the original members. In our meeting the new members were getting **** about what we were doing in the clubs name. Meeting number two went south with the original members having a major melt down. The cops were called resulting in two members being removed. The old members voted all the new members out of the club. Now, the rumor is that two of the old members are out to kick our ***. Wow, seniors citizens out to kick ***! Unless, you have some very close friends to make a club they won't work. Clubs end up like our guys in Washington that can't get along or decide on anything. I stay away from clubs and all their political bull ****. Good luck with your friends and start your own club. CRUISER <!-- / message -->
I feel the love!!! ... I have freinds that are in car clubs but when I hang with them around their "club" group I find them to be real ***holes.. and as individuals they are all pretty much straight-up ... who needs a damn club. As far as reading the OP (read my sig) ... work on that mister, no one said you have to be a hemingway here, a couple mistakes are ok but damn you write like elmer fudd speaks!
My experience w/ 'clubs' is that you need to keep them small, so everyone 'stays on the same page'... and yes, when you put a group of guys w/ the same jackets together, there tends to be some 'at***ude' thrown around; kind of like skinheads back in the 80s, ha ha.....
Makes you wonder why the club folded in the first place , prob of those same ol members who cant handle change.
