This is a project I started years ago as a rat rod, beater hot rod, then is snowballed into somthing a bit more nice. I started out with 2x3 box frame rails. A sedan model a cowl I got off ebay for $12 20 miles from my home, when ebay was cool, so a long time ago. I had 2 doors from another a project, and that is really all I had in the start!

Then I found a drop axle and got the rear end out of my 37 ford coupe along with all the juice brakes it had, got some roller wheels and it started to look like somthing. I started to make the back half of the body and dash and alot of other odds and ends at another friends shop who has a ton of metal tools and it started to look more like a car.

After I got all that done, then I started to make the dash and light bar, messing with the grill and just all the odds and ends that make it what it is, this is a project that I work like 2 months on, then stair at for 10 months, and work on other projects, user26643_pic68479_1240102371.jpg

Then I got the car all together and rolling, not running or driving but rolling, the only thing in these pics that is diffrent now is I swaped gas tanks for a square one now that looks alot better

Now it is torn down and I have gotten as far as the frame painted rolling and engine and ****** as of today! This is what I have so far, I will update pics as time goes on!

Had me fooled: from looking at the first set of pics, I did not think I would like it... but the 2nd set of pics...I like it :)

I really get the "old build" feel by the same size tires front/back...that's what many cars had, and it looks cool, and makes me want to look at the car more......if you know what I meant by that.

Now this mod, I dig! I don't know about the bottom part of the body hanging down below scrub line but it looks great nonetheless.

yeah that body line is going up about 2 inches when I put the other back wheels on, plus in this pic the rear leaf spring only has about 4 leafs in it, it will go up, but only about 2" Thanks for all the praise tho! makes me more motivated to finish this thing!

  10. Very cool, finish it.

Like she said "who do you expect to please with that?" your response is of course, "Me!!"
