Either way its a bad *** looking truck. I dig it big time, but I second a set of more period correct wheels.

I just bought some 15x7 bare metal Artillery wheels. I've always likes the way they look and found a pretty good price on them.

One question. Say I wanted to go to a lancer wheel cover. Would they work on those wheels. If not I'm good with it.

Whatever you decide, dont let the d'bags on here give you any carp about the paint. I like it just the way it is......

  8. I like your truck, I would go stock 15" with an original style cap. The rims look great on your truck they just don't fit the look your going for. I was wanting to run that style wheel on a '53 I am building, What size/brand are they?

Thanks guys. They are boss 338's 20x10 in the rear and 8x8 in the front. Tires are 275/40/20 and 245/35/18. I'm getting my artillery wheels powdercoated red tomorrow and going to grind out some whitewalls this weekend.

\\\\\\\\\\\dare to be different, 60's style slots or ARE's with a rubber rake. whitewall piecrusts or plain black. A totally personal choice your truck do as you wish and remember the "Rules"

Nice job on the Artillaries and tires...but a little too 'Barnum & Bailey' for me.

I would have seriously done some 6-lug centers inside some 7" rear hoops, and some 6" fronts, inset (that 'reversed' deep look) and stock Chevy p/u center caps.
Gives that 'husky' appearance best for older trucks.
Early porky pickups with small whitewall tires on stock skinny wheels look like fat San Francisco ***gots in white tennie loafers.
