Pulling my fkn hair out trying to find a place that has a new brass fitting for this carb I just bought.

Holley 1904 carb swap. Everything fit just fine except the old vacuum advance brass fitting is 1/8 and the new carb is 3/16. Went to every part store in vegas trying to find one and no one has it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

Lowe's, Ace, Homeless Depot or a plumbing store will have one.

Are you looking for a fitting that uses a brass ring under a male threaded nut? If so, those are VERY hard to find. Most everybody uses the fitting with a brass ring under a female threaded nut.

If you are looking for the kind of fitting I have described, you will need to look at a place that specializes in hydraulic fittings.

Go to a truck shop . The fittings for the roadranger shift knob are 3/16 with a nut and ferrel, it should work for you. They might be 1/4. Its been 10 yrs since I've worked on one.

Ace Hardware has those sliding clear plastic shelves with all kinds of brass fittings like you need. You have to look a little but they are generally there. Go to the plumbing dept .

They also have a hell of a good bolt dept with neat stuff like SS button head screws, etc.

  10. The last place you look is only last because that's when you quit looking.
