Another car that I found in Colorado last summer. I picked this one up for $350 from my friend that was just sitting at his ranch. His grandpa bought it new and still has window sticker and dealership paperwork to go with it. You would think he would have wanted to keep it because it was his grandpas but no he was so happy to see it go. What do you guys think was it worth it. I think it has the 322 engine in it. What do you guy think its worth on the market today. just curious, I am going to keep it.

Wow! That´s a cool find! FYI, this is the top-of-the line ROADMASTER -model. Longer and wider than the Special. Longer than the Super. The ´53 -model is also the first year with 12V and a V8 in a Buick.

  8. What's it worth? A car like that down under would fetch many thousands, I think. Looks ****** beautiful.

Nice car..I think that might be a 264 Nailhead (not a 322). From how solid it appears to be (but having no idea if the engine is working or seized etc) I'm guessing it could fetch between $1500 and $3500 in the current market.

 Man that's a great find. Look at all that straight front chrome and that rear emblem, not a bit of pitting. How long had it sat in that field, couldn't have been for long. Did you leave a zero off what you said you paid? Congrats man, you did good.

    JVK54, that is a 322 , the 264 came in '54 and 55's. :)

I am saying 5 to 7 grand, if its as clean inside as it outside. Really a sweet lookin cruiser. Check out Dan Greenberg's photo of the 54 hardtop in the Fri. art show. This would be perfect, just bone stock look, for a super cool cruzer. Congrats on the "buddy buy", that is a low low price! ~sololobo~

The engine is not seized. The interior needs replaced due to the mice. It sat in a barn for a long time. I pulled it out when i bought it. It was covered with a tarp that was covered with bird ****.
