Does anyone know of a place to get GM rotors (78Nova I Think) that would have a 4.5" Mopar/ Ford bolt circle ??? Any help would be great .
Or how hard would it be to redrill the Nova ones that I all ready have ??

  2. Never heard of such an animal, and knowing which spindle you've got is critical, as the bolts for the 78 Nova are on the hub, not the rotor, if my memory serves me right. I've never heard of a shop doing that conversion, but I'm not a machinist so I can say wether it's possible or cost effiective.

Its not hard to redrill rotors, just need a rotary table and a mill. I actually had to do the same thing but the other way around, converted a 4.5" bolt pattern to 4.75".

Purchasing wheel adapters is a possible alternative if you can't get it done.

I did my 73 nova/omega rotors to a 5on5 from a 5on4 3/4. It would have been easier to do a 4 1/2 inch circle. You could use a lathe with a 4 jaw chuck and a dial indicator and a good divider.

Should be a "no brainer" for any machine shop that has a Bridgeport mill and a rotary table.

You don't need a rotary table. Just trig the x y positions and dial to the locations. I've done it often enough to have several bolt patterns in my files.

Try Plymouth Volare rotors. They fit with the chevy calipers and the ford/mopar bolt circle, if I remember correctly.

  11. Verticl mill (bridgeport if you prefer) and a rotary table is the best way to go, or maybe the most correct.

I have some punching templates that I made years ago that I keep for times when I can't get to a bridgeport.
