softer / shorter springs for Monte Carlo clip

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by nmpontiac, Feb 26, 2012.

  1. I set the Pontiac down on the floor today to see where I'm at on ride height - since I moved the engine back 6" I wasn't sure how the front would sit. Right now it sits level (or about 1/2 inch lower at the front of the rocker panel. Is there a shorter or softer spring I can put in the front (81 Monte Carlo clip) to get the front a couple inches lower?

A quick search at Jegs' website came up with these 1" drop springs for an '81 Monte. I have a G-Body that I ended up putting a coil-over conversion on the front, which lets me dial in ride height.
