This takes the cake for being the sexiest build on the HAMB right now...

One of my favorites in recent builds on the HAMB. You have put together what many others have tried to do only you succeeded big time. I hope you are putting the car in the Autorama at Cobo this year. Good luck. What is the white stuff on the ground?

We acutally just moved the car into Cobo last night - and that white stuff, we're supposed to get 6-8" more of it tonight.....

I haven't gotten mine in the mail yet, but yes, I did the wiring on the So-Cal Streamliner last year. The car turned out amazing!

Well now that Autorama is over, I'm going to get the headlights and windshield installed on the car. I need to get some glass cut, but I've been wondering what color glass to use:

clear glass....the glass with a slight green color.....something else? What kind of glass would have been available back then - besides cutting down the original plate?

This was on Monday - it was around 34 degrees out, and without the windshield, a little chili to say the least.....

That shot of you in traffic on Monday just proves that you are a true roadster lover (or nuts like the rest of us)

Minor quibble: Ford started using laminated safety glass in '28.

Saw the car in person and it was beautiful!!! It says a lot about your work to be parked next to such other legends.

As far as glass, I wouldn't think twice about going with exactly what came on the car in '32 which is clear glass. The EZ Eye Green glass is too new for the car I think. Just go with the straight clear and you'll be happy.

    So nice!!!!

The original glass in my '38 Buick has a slight green tint. Its the super-sketchy '30s "Saftey-Glass". So, you could definatly go with the green while keeping it traditional. Personally, I'd go with clear however.

  28. Hi, I saw the roadster at Autorama. Looks badass in person!!! I love the black paint. Keep it up!

Hopefully I'll get the glass in the windshield frame, and mounted on the car this weekend.....just in case the weather clears up.

John Jackson of NotStock Photography stayed the other night while on his way to Pittsburgh, and I got him to take a couple photos of the car.

I agree, the clear would look best. That has to be one of the all time trickest Deuce hiboys ever.
