About 4 years ago I asked the nice ladies at the local DMV what it would take to ***le an old vehicle I might drag in from a ravine and they explained an affidavit process that I could do with a bill of sale. So yesterday I went in to make sure I had everything I need from the s****per I am buying the 58 and 60 pickups from. It seems too many people were abusing that process and now the only person who can do it is the owner of the land they set on. Yikes, wish I would have known that before I sent half the money. It looks like my only option now is to "abandon" them on someones land here and let the land owner do the process for me. This is for South Dakota
Ive had good luck in Sturgis. Just have to have all your ducks in a row. I talk to one gal when I go up (I cant remember her name right now).
Which process/form do you use? I could also buy them as a group of parts, keep all receipts and do it as an ***embled vehicle. That's what they told me I would have to do on my rpu since no part of it has a serial number, and it is in fact an ***emblage of parts.
