Good radiator shop in Kansas City???

Anybody recommend a good radiator shop in KC? Seems like they've all gone away and my Portell radiator is leaking again! Thanks in advance.

 

I had good luck with Midwest Radiator. They rebuilt a radiator and moved a ****** to the opposite side, for my 56 Dodge. They seemed to "get it".

Just a suggestion.

A friend recently had some work done at Ace Radiator, 9304 E US 40 Highway and he was pleased with the work and the price. He had a connection relocated, and a drain pet**** added.

 

I have had a bad experience with midwest. Took one in with a leak 1 week later, back on the 32 same leak .

Thanks guys, I'll check some of these out. I'm going to try to get off work early tomorrow and get this thing in and get it fixed, but damn, it's a SOB to get out!

 

I'll second Orr. I've had good luck over the years with several radiators and a couple of gas tanks.

Orr is pretty good & they have a REAL quick turnaround.

 

These guys are the tops if you need one repaired or recored. I have never had a custom radiator built by them but if you have an existing radiator they got it in spades.

 

I too have had great luck with Avondale Radiator and North Town Alignment and Radiator. Both have old dudes that know what they are doing.
